I also have a dditional post-graduate training in trauma-work: specifically working with addicted survivors of trauma, as well as processing trauma through the lenses of body-work, brain theory and neuroscience, and spirituali ty.
I completed the 200-hour yoga instructor training and certification program at Easton Yoga School. I also t rained in the utilization of yoga, mindfulness, and meditation as clinical interventions through the University of Massachusetts Medical School's Center for Mindfulness in Medicine.

Prior settings I have worked in as a clinician include: a mental health hospital in both inpatient and community-based settings, a drug and alcohol detox/rehab hospital, a methadone clinic, an LGBT specialty health clinic, as well as Crisis Interventions alongside San Antonio Police Department providing emergency services during suicidal, homicidal, and psychotic crises.

Counseling Philosophy
Counseling Philosophy
Counseling begins by gathering background history and information and finding out what brought you to the healing room at this time; developing a treatment plan designed to meet your specific needs; and then working together to create the shared soulspace needed in order to heal current problems and move towards growth, happiness and wholeness. My foundational approaches to therapy are hypnotherapy and trauma therapy. Depending on what your specific needs and goals are, I interweave eclectic therapeutic techniques drawn from transpersonal psychology, Third-Wave CBT (using mindfulness, meditation, and techniques taken from Eastern psychology), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
It would be an honor to take this journey into the self, into your relationships with others, and the realm of Spirit by sharing soulspace with you.
